Welcome to Dental Specialty Consultants of Virginia, a network of private practice dental specialists committed to providing outstanding comprehensive treatment to patients with craniofacial anomalies and systemic diseases affecting oral and facial structures.

Our Mission

We specialize in complex treatment of patients with craniofacial anomalies such as Cleft Lip and/or Palate, Ectodermal Dysplasia, Hemifacial Microsomia, Treacher Collin's Syndrome, Apert's Disease, Sjogren's Disease, Scleroderma, and Down's Syndrome, as well as cancer and trauma reconstruction.

Our strength lies in our communication and, as Dental Speciality Consultants of Virginia, we serve as a model for private-practice-based team-managed dental care throughout the country. By pioneering the use of a single multidisciplinary record transmitted digitally among offices we can eliminate redundant appointments and streamline communication among private practitioners. We hold our treatment standards to the highest level and our providers are dedicated to using science and evidence-based research as a foundation for clinical care.

Contact Us

To become a patient of DSCVA, simply contact the office of Dr. Karen McAndrew (804) 741-8689 or Dr. Frank Iuorno (804) 364-8366 and set up an initial consultation.  Please let us know of your interest in our comprehensive team approach when you call.  At the consultation, with your permission, the doctor will gather a standardized set of records (which may include radiographs, pictures, impressions and a complete oral/facial exam) and schedule a follow-up appointment to discuss team member referrals.

At the next DSCVA meeting, treatment options for your case will be discussed and meticulously sequenced by the entire team of clinicians.  Often there are many options and treatment may take several years to complete. Our goal is to develop a plan that meets your needs and exceeds your expectations. At your follow-up appointment, treatment options will be presented and a plan formulated.

Thank you for your interest in DSCVA and we look forward to working with you
