Dr. Karen McAndrew received her D.M.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania graduating with honors. Upon completion of her dental degree, her interest in prosthodontics lead her to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she completed her specialty training and earned her specialty certification and Master of Science degree in Prosthodontics.

Serving on the faculty at the VCU School of Dentistry since 1997, Dr. McAndrew currently holds a part-time faculty appointment as an assistant professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She has contributed to several scientific journals, co-authored a textbook chapter and lectures nationally on dental implants and prosthodontic reconstruction.

Dr. McAndrew currently serves as a member of the editorial review board for the Journal of Prosthodontics and is an editor for the Journal of the Virginia Dental Association. She co-founded the Implant Forum of Virginia, dedicated to the study and pursuit of excellence in dental implants, and is past president of the Virginia section of the American College of Prosthodontics. She holds membership in the American College of Prosthodontics, American Dental Association, Academy of Osseointegration, American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial, Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontists, the International Team for Implantology, and is a fellow of the International College of Dentists and the Virginia Dental Association.

Mrs. Adnana Dubcak, CDT (Certified Dental Technician) - Lab Technician

Adnana holds a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Coastal Carolina University. After 14 years of working in a corporate environment in the health insurance industry, Adnana decided to pursue a career as a Dental Lab Technician. Adnana earned a Dental Lab technology degree from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College. Adnana also worked at the Medical College of Virginia as an assistant to dentistry professors and students. At Virginia Center for Prosthodontics, Adnana combines her talents in the lab process to meet and exceed our patient's expectations.

Adnana enjoys running, cooking, baking, painting, doing crafts with her children, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
