Restorative Dental Assistant
Does Implant dentistry have you baffled with all the different parts and pieces? Are you overwhelmed with the many treatment options? Do you feel as though Implant dentistry is a foreign language? Finally a continuing education course designed specifically for the restorative dental assistant to answer your questions and provide the knowledge and training needed to successfully assist any implant restorative procedure.
This unique hands-on program will identify all the components involved in implant dentistry and describe how to implement them into everyday practice while demonstrating the many techniques and materials needed to successfully complete most dental implant restorations. This is a unique educational experience to provide the tools to make the chair-side assistant a vital member of the dental implant team. Become an expert in your field and a valued member of the dental implant restorative team! Each participant will:
· Gain a strong knowledge base for understanding the restorative options for the completely edentulous patient to those missing a single tooth or multiple teeth
· Learn how to communicate with patients and answer implant questions with confidence
· Learn procedures involved in the surgery, restoration, and maintenance of dental implant therapy
· Understand the importance of surgical guides and how to fabricate them
· Learn the different techniques to provisionalize the dental implant patient
· Become proficient in organization, sterilization, and set-up for implant therapy
· Gain hands-on experience in making impressions, pouring casts, identifying all restorative implant components, and delivering abutments and prostheses
